How do I set up the course?
Mark two lines 20 m (65 ft 7 in) apart, or 15 m (49 ft 3 in) for PACER 15 and Police 15, on a flat, non-slip surface, and leave a few feet of free space behind each line. The ruler button on the Test tab opens a step-by-step lane setup guide.
Which tests are included?
MSFT (the classic Multistage Fitness Test), PACER-compatible 20 m and 15 m, Léger 20 m, the USAF 20 m HAMR, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery levels 1 and 2, the 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test, UK Police JRFT 15 m and Eurofit 20 m. Yo-Yo, 30-15 IFT and HAMR need ShuttleIQ Pro.
The beeps sound late or the first one is cut off on a Bluetooth speaker.
Wireless speakers add delay and some go to sleep during silence. In Settings › Speakers, turn on Bluetooth speaker keep-alive and run the Latency calibration: tap along with the beeps and ShuttleIQ corrects the timing. The iPhone speaker or a wired speaker is the most precise option for official testing.
Does the test keep running with the screen locked?
Yes. Every beep is scheduled on the audio clock, so the test continues with the screen locked or while you switch apps. The Live Activity on the Lock Screen shows the current level.
How do I use Apple Watch?
Install ShuttleIQ on your watch from the Watch app on your iPhone. Start the test on your iPhone or directly on the watch: the watch taps your wrist on each beep, and measures your heart rate and your turns at each line.
How do I restore Pro on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the app’s Settings and tap Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription or ask for a refund?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions › ShuttleIQ. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I back up or delete my data?
Your data lives on your device. The optional Cloud backup in Settings keeps a copy in Google Firebase, and Delete cloud data removes it. Export any test as PDF or CSV (Pro). Details are in the Privacy Policy.
